Electro-dough workshop

The Squishy Circuits Workshop is a fun and interactive learning experience for kids of all ages. Through hands-on activities and experiments, children will learn the basics of electricity and circuits using play dough, batteries, wires, and LEDs. The workshop is designed to be accessible to children from preschool to high school.

Over the course of two one-hour classes, students will learn how to define, recognize, and build a closed circuit, assemble series circuits, and understand why a closed circuit is required for any electrical device to operate. Additionally, they will be able to describe the transformations of energy that occur in a circuit and distinguish the difference between a parallel circuit and a series circuit.

The workshop also includes the use of robotic kits, which will help children activate their brains and develop their creativity while building robots with various sensors. Students will also have the opportunity to watch videos showcasing how robots can change our lives in the future.

It is crucial for children to learn about the technology of robotics, as robots will undoubtedly play a vital role in our daily lives in the 21st century. The Squishy Circuits Workshop is an excellent opportunity for children to develop a passion for robotics and learn the skills necessary to thrive in the technology-driven world of tomorrow.
